Happy hour enthusiasts and Mexican fare lovers will want to come together this week, as Mexican-inspired cantina and taco shop Gringo is serving up some wicked deals.

First, for National Margarita Day on Thursday (February 22), the spot is offering $5 margaritas all day long.

Gringo is famous for its cheeky margarita menu, with their offerings being the Crap, OK, and the BTO (Better Than OK), which is essentially differentiated by your choice of tequila—spanning from well spirits to top shelf. All of them are made with lime juice and a house-made salt rim with ice (never blended).

Then, on Saturday (February 24), all Chippy Dippy orders will be 50 per cent off.

The “dippy” is as follows: salsa, queso, guac, and spicy pineapple salsa, all served with tortilla chips. You can get the quad-fecta for $25 on a regular day, but expect it for just $12.50 this weekend.

The deal extends to both of its locations—so whether you’re in English Bay or hanging out in Gastown, all you gringos can snag a deal this week.

Gringo’s North Vancouver location is set to open soon.
