Looking to catch some music on the Canada Day long weekend? Said the Whale has got you covered.

In case you missed the Juno-winning local band on its latest tour, the West Coast rock group is headlining the Port of Vancouver’s annual Canada Together show, being held at Canada Place on July 1.

Other acts playing include beloved Vancouver deck-spinner DJ O Show, Kelowna brothers 538st (giving this author strong flashbacks to Nate Silver’s American poll website), Toronto party bringers Free Label, and perennial local noisemakers Fake Shark.

Alongside the free show, there will also be plenty of other ways to fill your time, including family-friendly activities, Indigenous cultural displays, food trucks, and a Stanley Park Brewing-catered patio area called Summer Sips.
