The recently refurbished Stanley Park miniature train has announced special dates to celebrate Easter.

Over the course of four days, riders can expect appearances by a larger-than-the-average-rabbit Easter Bunny, a plaza display, and vendors selling sweet and savoury offerings. Making its return after being out of commission due to a parts issue during the Bright Nights Christmas celebration last December will be the miniature train carriage capable of accommodating children in wheelchairs.

The Easter Train will run from March 29 to April 1 from 10am to 4pm, with tickets—based on past Christmas and Halloween train rides—pretty much guaranteed to sell out instantly.

Starting March 12 at noon, 5,700 tickets for designated Easter Train time slots will go on sale atvancouver.ca/eastertrain. Access to the waiting room begins at 11:30am, at which point those looking to get on board will be randomly assigned a place in a purchasing queue. Those joining after sales begin will be placed at the back of the queue on a first-come, first-served basis, with priority given to those already waiting.
