Burnaby RCMP seek witnesses who left scene after hit-and-run injured elderly female pedestrian

      After a senior was injured in a hit-and-run in Burnaby on Tuesday, police are searching for both the suspect vehicle as well as witnesses who left the scene.  

      According to a Burnaby RCMP news release issued today (August 29), a vehicle collided with a 74-year-old female pedestrian who was walking on a crosswalk in the 4000 block of Canada Way around 6:50 p.m. on August 27.

      The woman was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

      The suspect vehicle left the scene after the collision.

      Investigators believe there were also several witnesses who didn’t remain at the scene who could provide information about this case.
