Known for having some of the freshest seafood on this side of the Pacific Ocean, Fisherman’s Wharf in Steveston Village has just added a new outpost for the remainder of the summer.

BC Live Spot Prawns and Seafood will provide sustainable, wild-caught, antibiotic-free, hormone-free seafood directly from fishermen to hungry customers.

The availability will be subject to change weekly, and pre-order reservations are recommended, but walk-up customers will also have access to the ocean bounty.

“We have loyal customers across Greater Vancouver and we are always looking for ways to get the products to them faster and easier,” says Darin Chung of BC Live Spot Prawns & Seafood in a statement. “We look forward to seeing returning customers as well as meeting new customers in Steveston.”

Expect local faves such as fresh or frozen spot prawns, sablefish, and halibut. Plus, during the opening weekend (June 28 to 30), special promo pricing for BC wild sock salmon will also be available.

The BC Live Spot Prawns & Seafood boat will be located at the Steveston Fisherman’s Wharf (3866 Bayview Street) Fridays through Sundays, 8am to 4pm, until the end of summer.
