For one weekend in July, Public Disco is transforming a Port Moody warehouse space into a family-friendly art market.

The PoMo Summer Art Market is fully licensed and will showcase 11 different art vendors and an interactive mural by local artist Angie Quintanilla Coates. Lower Mainland makers Parkside Brewing, Rewind Beer Co, and NiceLife Cocktails will serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages all weekend while Gabi & Jules bakery provides snacks. Keeping the party going are live DJ sets by Popmisfit and Costa Besta on Friday, followed by HATAW, EtOH, and Just Kawz on Saturday.

“PoMoArts is thrilled to curate the PoMo Summer Art Market with GRIT Studio. The market will showcase unique artists, featuring local to Port Moody, and are sure to inspire summer vibes,” says Deanna Kayne, executive director of PoMoArts, in a statement. “Public Disco’s PoMo Summer Art Market aligns with our commitment to create art experiences that engage our community and create opportunities for connection in the City of the Arts.”
