Ever wanted to stare into the eyes of a sea otter?

The Vancouver Aquarium has launched a new experience to help you do just that.

The Sea Otter Encounter is a meet-and-greet-style offering that allows guests to get up close and personal with these furry sea mammals—while learning about their habitat and conservation efforts.

The intimate experience is an add-on to general admission for groups of up to five people. It gives marine enthusiasts a behind-the-scenes glimpse into a day in the life of a marine mammal trainer, access to ocean conservation experts and, of course, time with the sea otters.

You’ll tour the rescued otter habitat (ordinarily off limits to the general public), and feed them lunch while learning about the Vancouver Aquarium Marine Mammal Rescue Society’s mission to protect them through its rescue, rehabilitate, and release program.

Bookings start at $370 per group, exclusive of admission rate.
