Vancouver’s only 48-hour film festival is hosting a public screening for its top 40 films.

Run N Gun sees budding filmmakers write, shoot, edit, produce, and finish short films in just two days. Anyone can enter, and all film genres are allowed; to keep everyone on their toes, a surprise theme is given to all entrants at the start of the competition.

“It’s incredible to see the festival grow so quickly,” Sasha Duncan, the festival co-director, shares in a release. “It’s a testament to how many talented filmmakers there are in the Vancouver area—they all deserve to have their work shown and platformed.”

The top 40 films will be shown this Saturday (June 29) at the Orpheum Theatre. Immediately following the screenings, there will be a closing awards show and a late-night after-party at Science World (which is included in your screening ticket).
