There's a big online party happening this Friday (December 18), and you're invited.

Especially if you're a Rolling Stones fan.

The eleventh annual Keithmas concert takes place on the 77th birthday of Stones guitarist Keith Richards, and some great bands will be taking part in the livestreamed celebration, which is hosted by CBC Radio's Lisa Christiansen. The lineup includes Big Sugar, Odds, Joe Keithley from D.O.A., Bend Sinister, Phono Pony, Rock 'n' Roll Circus, the Wild North, and Rempel and the Rousers.

All proceeds go towards the Greater Vancouver Food Bank, as they have been doing since 2010.

"The whole point of it," says Keithmas cofounder John Hewer, "is it's a party that--while everybody's having a good time--it actually does good as well. Everybody involved knows that they're doing it for a good cause, so there's no egos.

"It makes a lot of sense to support [the Food Bank]," he adds, "because it's something that everybody can use. And it's been a great partnership; they're really on board with us. We've raised over $85,000 so far, and we'd love to hit $100,000 if we could. We'll see how it goes."

Tickets start at $15, and you can find them here.
