George Lucas: Indiana Jones 5 a possibility

At the premiere of Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull at the Cannes film festival last weekend, George Lucas said he has left the door open to a possible fifth installment in the Indiana Jones saga.

In it, we could see Shia Lebouf as an Indiana Jones type character and Harrison Ford take on a Sean Connery role, like in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade.

I hate to break it to George but we already saw that and it was an okay movie. Early reviews of the latest Indy movie have been mediocre thus far but, I am still going to check it out.

We live in a world now where sequels are almost expected from Hollywood blockbusters. I sometimes enjoy a sequel such as Spider-Man 2 or most of the Star Wars movies but, sometimes it gets taken too far. It would be great if good movies were left to stand alone, without tarnishing them with craptacular sequels.
