We’re a city that loves to thrift!

Whether for the thrill of the hunt, the (somewhat) wallet-friendly price, or the noble sustainability factor, buying vintage is not just a trend. While dozens of preloved retailers exist, here are our Vancouver favourites by neighbourhood.

Located on the top floor of the iconic Dominion Building, Collective Will is a beautiful store that will make you forget that you’re shopping secondhand. The heritage space is curated and merchandised by colour story for easy shopping; it also features a few ethically-sourced new brands, such as Montserrat Messeguer western boots and locally-run Vimeria jewellery.

      Undun Vintage on Granville Island

Undun Vintage, a hidden gem on Granville Island, is not your typical vintage store. With a curated collection that’s only open one day a week (Saturday), it’s a must-visit for any vintage fashion enthusiast. The studio space may be small, but the racks are always full of unique finds, well-maintained vintage, and plenty of sizes, making it a treasure trove for those who appreciate one-of-a-kind pieces.

      Mine & Yours in Yaletown

If you love luxury goods, then Mine & Yours in Yaletown may be your personal heaven. The store carries racks upon racks of preloved designer pieces and is known for having a floor-to-ceiling display of its most coveted handbags. With multiple locations around Vancouver (and even one in Toronto), Mine & Yours carries everything from more approachably-priced brands such as Staud or Ganni right up to The Row and Hermes.

Story of Things on Commerical Drive

Turn on your alert settings, because the Story of Things seasonal vintage shop has one of the most extensive offerings in the city. Operating out of Studio1111, Story of Things is an absolute treasure trove of vintage fashion. Only open for select pop-ups throughout the year, it’s as special as it is unique.

      Mintage in Mount Pleasant

The first of its kind in Vancouver, Mintage Mall vintage collective has a little bit of everything. Seven different vintage sellers call Mintage Mall home, making this an ideal stop for anyone who’s willing to spend hours looking for the perfectly worn-in Expo 86 tee.
