There are shows, and then there are concerts so crazily anticipated they become major events that can get an entire city buzzing.

On that latter front, Billie Eilish was scheduled to take the latest Vancouver step in what's been a crazily meteoric rise on April 11. The dark-pop 18-year-old wunderkind was to headline Rogers Arena as part of a tour that would have included stops in Boston and Chicago before detouring to COVID-19 hot zones like Los Angeles and Seattle.

All future shows on what's been billed as the Where Do We Go? tour have now been cancelled due to ongoing concerns about the COVID-19 pandemic. Previously purchased tickets will be honoured when new tour dates are announced later this year.

On her last visit to Vancouver, Eilish played the sold-out PNE Amphitheatre.
